Basic Salary
The Royal Bank of Scotland Group benchmarks all salaries on an annual basis to ensure that it is highly competitive in the local marketplace. Salary progression is linked to individual performance.
Performance Related Bonus/Incentive Plans
Depending on your role, you have the opportunity to earn a performance-related bonus/incentive which is paid either quarterly or annually.
Group Profit Sharing
Profit share has been set at 10% of base salary and all eligible employees will receive this non-pensionable payment in March each year. Pro-rated in your first year.
Retirement Savings Plan
Employees are invited to join the Royal Bank of Scotland Retirement Savings Plan through RBSelect, the Group’s benefits choice programme.
You will receive benefit funding which is equal to 15% of annual salary and you may choose to contribute as much or as little as you like into the Plan, subject to limits which will be advised if relevant to you.
Travel Allowance
A flight allowance of £260 is paid annually, in monthly instalments.

Community Cashback Awards
The Group’s Community Cashback Awards Scheme supports the community groups, youth organisations, schools and charities that you are actively involved with.
Depending on how you help an organisation, and whether you do that as an individual or as a team of work colleagues, each calendar year you can apply for an Award ranging from £100 to £1,000.
Group Learning Guarantee
The RBS Group will provide financial assistance to support employees undertaking professional or vocational qualifications, where these can be seen to provide a clear business benefit as well as improved performance of the employee.
